I attempted Laminaria in lace-weight once and it went a little bit wrong (okay, a lot wrong) so I decided that I would use 4 ply for my next lace project - and as it happens, it's much easier when you can see the stitches! Still, I have lace-weight shawl aspirations too. I'm sure yours will be beautiful. :) It’s gorgeous, isn’t it?
